damn. sorry to hear that. your best option would be to 1, disconnect the button from the wires so they do not touch. and manually using the rear. your option 2 is to find a similar case and swapping the hardware. final option is buying the button itself. @@HernandezMasterMind Thank you, before i change the processor. how can I check the power switch? every thing was working. I went and moved my tower to another room. I did not hook it back up right away. but after maybe a week I hooked it all up and BAM no power. I thought if I get power on the board . the yellow light as mentioned. and also the Processor fan on the MB spins. I can get the DVD door to open. the fan on power supply spins also. I am going to look into replacing the items you mentioned. I am just preying it might be as simple as the power switch. I am retired and live on Disability. so funds are low. I wish to thank you again so much for troubleshooting my issue. reason I told every thing over again. My daughter said what I originally wrote was like a word salad. and probably didn't make no sense. again thank you.

when the pc acts as if there is power, which is. and turns on which is. but nothing displays. the most likely cause is a fried processor which need to be replaced with a new one.

to be honest is hard if you never done it. but if you are daring to do so. purchase a soldering gun. and you want to solder off the old dc jack and clean the connectors while its hot. then solder back in the new one. purchase one here amzn.to/4ciwq1C

if led is not coming on could be an indication of a burned out board so replacing is required

these older dells tend to die out of no where. you may need a new power supply or motherboard

Yes sir. The video was made a while back. In fact I don't just upload new but old too. It just so happens that you are right Amazon has discontinued the feature which is so disappointed. But is cool because I found a walk-around alternative, which is to create the blurbs, thumbnails yourself on the website within post using your builder and linking Amazon products to it. Hey there. Good question. Rule of thumb by design, the power supply should run at all times. However with newer power supply modes operating at a 'need basis' to help lower power usage could be the reason is not running at first because is not required at the moment when 'normal cooling' after a while when hardware heats up 'it automatically spins' to keep it cool. To confirm if this behavior is part of your 8930 is to know is the pc new? Few months old? Then is normal. If the pc is older and it never did this then could be a clogged fan motor. Hello. Good question. Well...the processor could have shorted due to lack of proper power. Or it could simply mean is stuck on boot. What I recommend you do is the following... disconnect power from wall outlet. Then press and hold power button for 20 seconds. After release it. Now before you turn pc back on. Let's do a re-sitting of the processor and to do that is open desktop and remove cpu. Go ahead with cleaning both processor and socket with pressure air. Lastly put it all back and turn on

Good question. Yes it would probably be 32bit regardless of operating system because of low memory capacity. Buy windows 10 and 11 are now designed to be compatible with older machines like this desktop

seems like a bad shorted board. or need to reset the power. try disconencting power cable from wall. then press and hold as mentioned for 60 seconds. connect back and power on?

hi. good question. the only way would be to uncheck the option to clean browser information. doing so it will not force it to close. however if you are cleaning that part and browser is open, it needs to close for it to clean it.

hi. considering you have power. it tends to be a motherboard malfunction in my opinion.

anytime you get power from power supply. and the computer does not turn on. or even better it does like in your example and goes out again. then for sure is the motherboard the problem. because we got power.

My 7yr old Dell desktop would not power back up after update, it would freeze on Dell logo screen. It turned out to be the bios wanted a prompt to proceed with windows boot. I had after market Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. I had to remove that and insert original usb keyboard and hit the F12 key at the logo screen . This brought up bios and just had to hit enter to select windows boot and it came up normally.

could be an indication of a bad motherboard. shorted board. orange light or blinking light indicates is not getting the proper power. try changing the power supply first and see if it works. if not the confirm is the board.

hi. perfect idea. the first you want to do is purchase a usb drive at g.page/r/CQ95y8TXcNeEEA0/review with the biggest in size so you have plenty to load it. now connect usb drive to the pc. then go to computer icon/c: drive/user which is normally your name/ inside there you will see folders like pictures and videos etc. go ahead and right click on each folder then choose copy. open the dumb drive from the my computer and then right click on background to paste folder. You go ahead and repeat the same step for every folder you want. wait for the transfer to complete. TIP: to help speed this process up, hold down CTRL Key on the keyboard and then Click with Mouse each folder you want so all get selected at once and after right click on only one while all highlighted to then copy them all. repeat the same example above for the one but now when you paste all folders get copied over. this video is a good example of the idea ruclips.net/video/52BATyJrmeg/видео.html
